Two letters, [1925].

The collection consists of two items. One is an undated letter from Angrand to an unnamed lady, (possibly Maximilien Luce's wife), thanking her for her appreciation of his drawing. Since she is going to Anvers, he sends his greetings to his good friend Luce, and promises that a letter will follow soon. The second is a letter written by Paul Signac on the blank side of an exhibition catalogue of Angrand's works to be displayed at the Galerie L. Dru in Paris, from March 23 to April 9, 1925. He tells Mr. Dru that he does not consider himself qualified to present such an important artist as Angrand, who has been regularly exhibiting his creations at the Salon des Indépendents for 35 years, and is indeed better qualified to present himself to the public.
